Your emminence Cardinal Collins,
I am a Catholic educator and I recently attended an OECTA Equity Conference which led to me look for support and resources. I beleive that as teachers, we need to be witnesses to the love and mercy of Christ and to affirm the dignity, value and importance of all people. However, I do not beleive this means denying sin. I trust in God's goodness and beleive that obedience to His way is teh source of all joy, love, peace and happiness, both earthly and eternal. It is so difficult to navigate the politics and I have been very thankful for the clear guidance of the teaching of the church. So, this made me want to access Catholic resources which could both affirm the beauty and dignity of all persons, provide safe culture and environment to explore questions while providing clear guidance to live according to the moral teaching of teh church. I think there are a lot of teachers who feel a need for this resource. We need to be equipped to stand agains the gay lobby by having clear LGBTQ anti-bullying gospel driven resources.
