Message I have so many memories of the old area good and bad but it was good to be able to go back and see the old area a few months ago. It still amazes me as to how many families lived in such a small space.

Can you help with old photos etc? yes got a few
Message Thanks to Gladys Buttle and Susan Sutton for directing me to this great site, I was born in 1947 at Grandma's house 2 Victoria Pde. Hedon Rd. & was surprised to see a photo of it on here. I was a Crowle St. Kid and onto Craven High. We left Hull to settle in Perth Australia in 1961. Really missed family & friends at the time. My last visit to Hull was 2007 got there just in time for the floods but had a drive around the old area, so I have 2007 photos of area and also some old ones that I got from my Mum.  I remember the little Fair near PingPong Alley, end of Wyke St  am I right ? it had swing boats , the splash boat at East Park, Majestic on Saturday afternoon, the "Tin Lizzie on Friday nights, Wash day with Posher and copper and mangle. Rossie fields, Graveyard back of Grandma's, Carling Peas & chestnuts. Looking through the school photo's I am starting to remember a few faces and places, I have seen my brother Billy Moxon and my cousin Ronnie Atherton, but not me I will send one in. Mum used to work at Imperial typewriter/ Metalbox,& Nut factory cant remember name ? Dad had a Barge named "LINDA M" would love a photo of that if anyone has one. Andrea Willard was a good friend until she went to POSH school !  This might jog a few memories  I was the kid that contacted TB and so the whole school had to be Immunised.  OOP's .. Names ringing a bell are Andrea & Graham Willard / Pat Johnson / Billy & Carol Holt / Shultz's / Dixon's /  Sandra Hackett,/ Barbara Walker / Bowers  and a few others. Babara Walker mentioned Mr Cole playing Piano at assembly was he the one that used to Faint ?? Get in touch with anybody who remembers me.
